Now this certainly doesn’t mean I dislike you or your character. I have quite a few blogs that follow me that seem perfectly lovely, and who clearly have put a lot of time into their characters. I just don’t have the time to properly dedicate to figuring out how our characters could interact. Moreover, I suffer from anxiety that’s usually heightened by how cluttered my dash is, so bear with me if I don’t follow you back.

Remember there’s no obligation to continue following me if you don’t get a follow in return, your dash is also meant to be a happy place for you. But please refrain from unfollowing and refollowing to get your name on my dash — this will lead to you being blocked before it earns you a follow.

PET PEEVES & TRIGGERS.

First, let me say that I am 100% meme loving trash – my tag is full of them and sending me a meme is one of the easiest ways for us to get our characters interacting. That being said, if you’d like to turn our meme into a thread, COPY AND PASTE IT INTO A NEW POST.

I’m remarkably SLOW when it comes to replies. Tthere are some days where I won’t have the motivation to jump online. While I don’t mind being asked about a thread, please don’t pester me to reply. Odds are it’ll push my motivation further away, and it can easily make me not want to continue the thread. This is a hobby! Let’s keep it fun c:

I am very open to all ships! However, I do play Will as being heterosexual. This isn’t meant to be discriminatory in any way, my muse merely has no interest in men, those who present male, or those who identify as male.

I will RARELY, if ever, be okay with cheating. That being said, any and all ships I have will be taking place in DIFFERENT verses.

Despite being interested in shipping , never force a ship on me. I ship based on chemistry and whether I think our characters could have some sort of future (seeing as how Will is old-fashioned. ) If you try to force a ship on me, our thread will likely be dropped and continued behaviors may force me to unfollow.

Also friendships are equally, if not more, important than ships to me. Don’t hesitate to do a brotp vs. an otp, ja feel? I wind up treasuring those friendships.

• ONLY A BLACKSMITH. ( pre cotbp. )
  With no family or title to speak of, William Turner has made his life in Port Royal by working hard and keeping his head down. Societal expectations are quite high in this small town, and as a result, Will attempts to abide by them around those of high status as he knows reputation is everything. However, he does find it in himself to let loose with the friends he’s made around the town, those whom he trusts.
  
  
  PIRATE IS IN YOUR BLOOD. ( cotbp. )
  Will’s life is completely disrupted by the arrival of pirates in Port Royal, and turned on it’s head when they leave with Elizabeth Swann as their captive. Unable to wait for the navy to locate the woman he loves, Will enlists the help of Captain Jack Sparrow to find the Black Pearl. Unaware of what he’s walking into, Will eventually learns that his father was a pirate and that he willingly left his family for piracy. Unsure of how to handle the new information that his father was a pirate, Will squashes down any current hatred in exchange for finding Elizabeth. Nevermind that it requires acts of piracy as well, Will follows after Captain Jack Sparrow and learns a bit more about himself than he would’ve liked.
  
  
  A PIRATES LIFE FOR ME ( dmc )
  Will’s determination to remain what he considers a good man is put to the test when Lord Beckett demands he find Jack Sparrow’s compass in exchange for his and Elizabeth’s freedom. With no choice but to delve back into the world of piracy, Will faces obstacles in the forms of navigating the seas, encountering cannibals, and going up against Davy Jones himself. During his run in with Jones, Will finds his father aboard the Flying Dutchman, and promises to save his soul no matter the cost.
  
  
  NO CAUSE IS LOST. ( awe )
  After Jack’s death, Will believes that any chance to save his father is lost along with his friend. However, Tia Dalma relays that there is a way to save both Jack and the Pearl, leading Will to do what must be done to bring the man back. Embracing what it means to be a pirate, Will begins placing his interests and goals above those of his crew. His actions and those of his fiance cause a large gap between the pair, one that isn’t explained until Jack is saved. Even so, the damage seems to be irreparable.
  
  
  A PRICE MUST BE PAID IN THE END. ( post awe )
  During the fight between The Brethren Court and the East India Trading Company, Will Turner lost his life at the hands of Davy Jones. With the help of Jack Sparrow, Will was able to stab the heart of Jones, and became the new Captain of the Flying Dutchman. Now, it is his responsibility to ferry the souls of the dead from this world to the next, a task he takes quite seriously. Though he and Elizabeth were married during the battle they knew might have ended their lives, Will could never ask Elizabeth to wait for him during the ten years it would take him to return to her. After their one day together, Will told Elizabeth to find her freedom, and in doing so also freed himself.
  
  
  THEY'LL COME BACK TO YOU. ( alt. ending )
  When all hope seemed lost, Bootstrap Bill found a way to break through the Dutchman’s hold on him and stab the heart of Davy Jones. Narrowly saving Will’s life and helping to end what might have been a full blown battle, Bootstrap became the rightful Captain of the Flying Dutchman. This left Will truly free in a way he hadn’t been before, and now the world is his for the taking.

  Despite Will’s intentions of ferrying souls and remaining a good man, the harsh realities of being surrounded by death eventually wormed their way into his heart. Unable to fight against the darkness that clouded him, Will has become as dark and twisted as Davy Jones once was, if not worse. Cruel and unforgiving, William Turner has sacrificed his crew for a new one, eliminating his father in the process.
  
  
• THIS WORLD OF LITTLE CONSEQUENCE. ( modern )
  After the death of both of his parents, Will Turner was placed into foster care. Despite the usual struggles that came with living in the system, Will managed to find work doing small jobs around London. Working as a handyman hasn’t left him rolling in money, but he’s able to afford a small apartment on the outskirts of the city. It serves him well, and he’s rather prideful of having something to call his own.
  
  
  HOME IS BEHIND ; THE WORLD AHEAD ( lotr/the hobbit )
  After Captain Jack Sparrow was killed by Davy Jones’ kraken, Will and a few others embark on a journey to bring said Captain back. Though successful, returning to the land of the living proves to be something of a challenge. During this process, Will winds up losing his hold on the ship he’s on as she’s pulled through to the world she belongs in. For all Will knows, one moment he was aboard the Black Pearl, and the next, he’s sputtering by a river that cut through a landscape unlike any he’s seen before. One thing’s for certain – he certainly isn’t home anymore.

  Based off of this poem, hiding within a single man is the soul of a dragon reborn, stuffed into a smaller frame and asked to survive. With a single task in mind, Will seeks out the princess he’d taken as a dragon, taken and set free to the best of his abilities. Obvious struggles stand before them, such as getting her to believe his story. But he’s determined, and after all – she’d recognize her dragon anywhere.

  Sir William Turner is a knight, sworn to serve the Argent family against any enemy that should attempt to cause them harm. A narrow encounter with a prior attack has left them all on edge, and Will begins to notice changes in the princess, a newfound determination perhaps. It takes him some time to catch on, but the small cuts that litter her fingers and a missing dagger alerts him to her attempted training. Instead of scolding her, Will finds himself wanting to help her. As time goes on, this need to protect Allison steadily grows stronger.
